VKSA South Africa – We Did It!
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO TOOK PART ON SATURDAY AND HELPED US SET A NEW KITESURFING WORLD RECORD IN CAPE TOWN!
And a further huge thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors, supporters, charities and partners who contributed so much to making it all happen. So, after an amazing day of kitesurfing on Saturday, here is a post event update with all the latest information…
We have just posted hundreds of photos of the big day on our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/kitesurfingarmada so please check them out, tag yourself and share!
They are also available on Dropbox to download here
There are some awesome photos which really capture the day – hope you enjoy them!
VKSA SOUTH AFRICA FILM
The official film of the event is being edited now – we will get it out by the weekend. Watch this space!
Many of you have been asking about getting Guinness Certificates. The way it works is that once the Record is verified, Guinness send us a code, which we can send to participants – you go on their website and order.
So we are busy submitting all the evidence now – but it takes Guinness a few weeks to confirm everything, so please be patient we will get the codes to you as soon as possible.
It was fantastic to raise funds for the SAVE Foundation and our other charities on the day (See their work here) If you enjoyed the day and perhaps saw some of the kids from SAVE helping at the event or landing kites and would like to make a donation, that would be amazing. You can make a donation safely online below. Thank you for your support.
